Jayne Hester will teach a primitive rug hooking class for 3 to 6 persons. Bring your group and plan on hooking a dirty color rug with a little bit of color or a rug with natural colors with lots of dancing. You name your week end OR MID-WEEK date. This class will start within dinner at 6 p.m. and Jayne will teach till 9 p.m. Rug Hooking classes on the other two days will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Meals that are included are : dinner on the first night, lunch on each of the other two days. Lodging is included at the Kinderhook Bed and Breakfast. Classes will be held at the Kinderhook Bed and Breakfast. Food by the Spice of Life. Rug hooking wool will be available for purchase, if needed. Class size 3 to 6 persons.

Weekend or Mid-Week rug hooking workshop including lodging as above- $295.00 plus sales tax

This 2 1/2 day workshop will introduce you to the motif of paisley --how to hook and how to color plan. You will not be using paisley fabric. Before I start teaching a class I like to have a few focus groups to establish my lesson plan. At the end of each focus group you will be asked to write a summary of what you learned and how this class could be improved. I am offering this class at a reduced price, as it is a focus group. I'm sure I will be learning as much as you will be.

The Paisley Workshop Particulars:

Five patterns will be available on red dot for you to copy one of them on your own foundation. Pattern design is free for taking the class. Linen is available to purchase if you desire.
You are to bring at least 5 one-yard pieces of wool in the color palette that you desire your rug to be hooked in. Wool is available for purchase if you desire.
Meals are not provided. Coffee and a cold beverage are included.
Meals are available a local eateries.

Times:

Workshop times -
- Mid-Week Class. Arrive at 9 am, depart at 12 noon on the 3rd day.
- Week-end Class. Arrive at 2 p.m. on Friday, depart Sunday at 3 p.m.
Teaching Times -
- Mid-Week: 9 a. to 3 p.m. Last day: 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Plan to hook at the B&B until 10 p.m. if you wish.
- Weekend: Friday -- 2 p.m. till dark. Saturday and Sunday -- 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Plan to hook at the B&B until 10 p.m. if you wish
Class Size - 4 to 8 people

A brand new camp geared especially for hookers who have not been to camp before and have been exposed to a minimum of instructors. Camp is in Tyler TX, 2 hours east of Dallas.
