Jayne Hester will teach a primitive rug hooking class for 3 to 6 persons. Bring your group and plan on hooking a dirty color rug with a little bit of color or a rug with natural colors with lots of dancing. You name your week end OR MID-WEEK date. This class will start within dinner at 6 p.m. and Jayne will teach till 9 p.m. Rug Hooking classes on the other two days will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Meals that are included are : dinner on the first night, lunch on each of the other two days. Lodging is included at the Kinderhook Bed and Breakfast. Classes will be held at the Kinderhook Bed and Breakfast. Rug hooking wool will be available for purchase, if needed. Class size 3 to 6 persons.
Weekend or Mid-Week rug hooking workshop including lodging as above- $295.00 plus sales tax
Commuter Tuition, no lodging - $225.00 plus sales tax
A brand new camp geared especially for hookers who have not been to camp before and have been exposed to a minimum of instructors. Camp is in Tyler TX, 2 hours east of Dallas. The camp starts with meeting teachers after dinner on Sunday, May 31, 2009. Class ends at 3 pm on Thursday, June 4, 2009. Star teachers : Beverly Conway, Gail Dufresne, P.D. The Festival will be at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck, NY. Look for the Rug Wool Studio in Building B, Spaces 40 & 41. Building B is where the workshops and backsigning are. So there is no confusion, this is not Jayne's booth. The booth will have felted hats, rug hooking supplies, hooked rugs, wool, hooks, scissors, binding, patterns by Bill Laraway and Johanna Pino, linen more for sale.
