Welcome to the world of rug hooking and the Old Kinderhook Winter Rug Hooking Camp web site. We are a small rug hooking camp and provide you with a professional rug hooking camp experience. Our rug hooking classes will have you coming back year after year. Whether you are just beginning rug hooking or are at the advanced rug hooking level, you can expect the best of rug hooking teachers, a great space, plenty of rug hooking wool to buy, wonderful food, and a drop-dead gorgeous hooked rug. Jayne Hester also teaches primitive rug hooking at other venues, such as the Green Mountain Rug Camp. 2008 Rug Hooking Camp will be a little different than last year's. Northe Point has closed so we had to find a new accommodation for our larger camps. But never fret, Debbie from the Spice of Life Catering Company will be back with her wonderful SPIRIT meals! My primitive hooked rugs and rug hooking wool are available for sale at many shows for fine artists and artisans. My rugs are in the primitive rug hooking style. The primitive hooked rug at the top of this page was designed by my husband and hooked by me.
